Important Announcement

As of January 1st 2008, all payment systems sold for PIN entry use must comply with the Payment Card Industry PIN Entry Device (PCI PED) v1.3 standard.

As well as PCI PED there is also a current mandate from APACS regarding UK Common Criteria. This states that all non UK Common Criteria compliant products must be removed from the field by 1st January 2010.

The VeriFone Xtreme PIN pad is not PCI PED or APACS CC compliant.

* If you currently have estates of Xtremes you will be able to continue to
use them in the field until 1st January 2010.

* VeriFone will no-longer be able to sell Xtremes after 31st December 2007

* PC-PoS will not be able to sell or ship Xtremes after 31st December 2007

* To ensure delivery, all Xtreme orders must be placed with PC-PoS
by 1st September 2007
