Mission Integrated Systems Ltd & The Cock Inn

Mission_Logo Following the success of The Cock Inn, as chronicled in the Channel 4 programme Jamie’s Chef, Aaron Craze needed a hospitality system to support his business. Sharon Wright of the Fifteen Foundation turned to Ian Jones at Mission Integrated Systems for a point of sale solution.

Mission
Mission Integrated Systems Ltd began developing the Mission X EPOS solution in the summer of 2000. The first live system was installed in May 2001 in the Market Bar and Restaurant near Fenchurch Street in the City of London.

Since then, Mission have gone from strength to strength, and now have systems installed in restaurants, hotels, bars, pubs, clubs and leisure outlets throughout the UK.

Mission are a very customer focused company who pride themselves on their service and support. Using only the latest technology hardware and operating systems, all Mission’s products are designed and programmed in the UK by their own development team. Mission handle training, education, installation and back up the support directly. This approach enables them to fully understand and meet their customer’s needs and ensures they are able to provide a first class service.

PC-PoS have been supporting Mission Integrated Systems for over 7 years. With over 25 years of experience between the companies, PC-PoS are able to support Mission with all their hardware needs.

The Cock Inn
Mission has recently installed three PC-PoS Frontier systems supporting the Mission X Series software in the Cock Inn.

Set in the heart of the idyllic Essex countryside, 10 minutes North of Braintree, Aaron has created a wonderful menu using authentic Italian and the best of local produce, which showcases his undeniable talent in the kitchen and his experience with Jamie Oliver and Fifteen.

Recently documented on Channel 4, the television programme ‘Jamie’s Chef’ followed Aaron Craze, a graduate from the Jamie Oliver restaurant, Fifteen London and his partner Nicci as they transformed this lovely country pub into a vibrant, Italian inspired pub/restaurant serving generous portions of delicious food.

29 year old Aaron joined Fifteen as one of the second group of trainees in 2003. At the time he joined Fifteen, Aaron had left school with no formal qualifications as he suffered from dyslexia which was not identified at school. He flitted from job to job before settling down with his partner Nikki and having their first child, Leah. He then decided it was time to get a proper job and after seeing 'Jamie's Kitchen', he applied for the course. Aaron had always enjoyed cooking but the Fifteen course really developed a passion for food which he shares with Jamie. Aaron graduated with merit in 2004 and has since worked at The Ivy and also in the kitchen at Fifteen working his way up from trainee to Chef de partie.

Aaron’s team at The Cock Inn has recently received their first AA Rosette, which is a fantastic testament to their hard work and determination to deliver high quality, seasonal food to their local clientele. Aaron, Nicci and their two little girls, Leah (5) and Molly (just turned 3), have settled into their new life in the country and are concentrating on continuing the success The Cock Inn has already achieved.

Supporting the Fifteen Foundation and Fifteen Ventures
PC-PoS was delighted to contribute three 15.1” 2.4GHZ Frontier touch screen systems complete with Epson receipt printers & cash drawers to Fifteen Ventures for the project. The systems complete with a 3 year warranty were installed in The Cock Inn by Mission in January and the reactions from the staff and management have been great.

Sharon Wright, Project Manager for Fifteen Ventures and The Cock Inn is delighted with the support Mission Integrated Systems and PC-PoS have continued to offer the business and the charity.

“The support we have received from Mission and PC-PoS has been fantastic!  The system is so easy to use and has excellent reporting capabilities, which make the difficult job of managing your bottom line that much less painful. Aaron has taken on a huge challenge with this project and although the Fifteen Foundation is always on hand to offer support, he is completely responsible for making his own profit and making this pub a viable business. The support & training offered by PC-PoS and Mission has been invaluable. Aaron will now go on to help other Fifteen undergraduates achieve their dreams, just as he is achieving his.”

The Future
PC-PoS will continue to support Mission and the Fifteen Foundation with their future projects.

With a client list of fantastic reputations such as Gilgamesh, the Michelin starred Hakkasan, Busaba, Ping Pong, Dim T  and the O2 Dome to name but a few, Mission are certainly making their mark on the UK hospitality market.

PC-PoS work with Mission to develop and source systems and peripherals which work seamlessly with their software. With new systems due for release this year, the partnership between the two companies should only become stronger and more successful. Watch this space…
